We at Podstock, LLC. (“Podstock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) have created this joint Terms of Service / Privacy Policy because we know that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. This policy relates to the information collection and use practices of Podstock in connection with our software platform available exclusively to our design partners and customers.
Podstock accesses data as an agent of our customers, podcast networks / ad sales businesses. Our rights and responsibilities with respect to that data are limited to supporting that entity.
Podstock's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Our application collects the following types of information from the YouTube Data and Analytics APIs:
Video Upload Data: We access and store information about the videos you upload including the video title, description, and published at timestamp using the YouTube Data API.
Analytics Data: We use the YouTube Analytics API to determine the number of views each of your YouTube videos received. We also collect engagement metrics such as the number of likes, dislikes, and comments on each video.
We access this data via an automated process daily for each of the channels you have connected to our platform using the YouTube Data and Analytics APIs. We authenticate to these APIs using the OAuth 2.0 protocol. This process downloads the data you have authorized and saves it to our application database.
We use the data to enable you to connect each of your audio episodes with one or more YouTube videos via our application. This allows you to track the progress of host read ad campaigns across both your video and audio inventory.
We store the information we collect in three places:
In all cases, data is encrypted at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, and destruction.
We periodically aggregate data from BigQuery and persist the aggregates to our application database in order to provide the aforementioned campaign tracking services to you.
We never sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties, including third party AI models. Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel within our company who require it to perform their job functions.
